To those of you who have been trapped in this fantasy of "oh well, deviantART isn't being tyrannical, times are just hard and they need money" bullshit false narrative -- I'm pleased to be able to present to you, a journal from FORMER STAFF MEMBER dxd.
In his journal titled "To all my friends left on DA staff", he explains how economic times are not the reason things are going down hill, but rather the top heads of the company milking the lifes blood out of this website until its a dead corpse. To those of you who used to think me nutty for saying this exact same thing. I forgive you.

I made an account just in case even though i wont really need since im not making a living out of anything yet. But i met a lot of people here that i can honestly call friends. People outside real life(that i may never get to meet but hey), people outside facebok(although a lot of you probably have facebook already), and basically people unlike society's norm. I may not have been active on this account for very long(since i made this like 5 years ago to just look at stuff and then i thought i had lost access to the account since i had forgotten the password and i couldnt get it back for some reason or other. So i didnt actually get to deviantart until june of last year) but in the time i was I had found people that I could be myself around and not be judged or questioned(why did i do this, why am i doing that, etc etc, mom type questioning) and with whom i could have my own opinions and not be criticised.
